How to use the NUNKI sheet in a travel cot

Are you going on holiday with your baby, staying over for a night, having a day at the beach, or is your baby going to nursery? Your baby will be out of their normal routine and may have more difficulty falling asleep. The NUNKI bedsheet can help with this. The bedsheet provides a pleasant pressure, allowing your child to relax better and fall asleep more easily – especially if your child also sleeps under the NUNKI bedsheet at home! Fortunately, NUNKI can be used in combination with most travel cots. In this article, you can read which size you need and how to best make the NUNKI for maximum effect.

Standard travel cot

Most cots for babies have a standard model. A few examples include the Qute Q-dream, Koelstra Travelsleeper, Puck Noor cot, Titaniumbaby cot, the Little Dutch cot – and there are many more.

What size NUNKI?
These travel cots have a board mattress. Are you only using this mattress? Then you can use the NUNKI co-sleeper or NUNKI cot in the bed. Please note that you will need to secure the cot sheet a little tighter than usual, as the mattress is slightly thinner. Are you using a extra mattressThen we recommend the cot sheet. You fit the NUNKI sheet around the mattress and the baseboard so that it is firm enough and doesn't warp.

Aeromoov Instant travel cot

De Aeromoov Instant reisbedjes hebben twee standen. In de high stand both the NUNKI co-sleeper sheet and the cot sheet fit. Please note that you need to secure the cot sheet a little tighter than usual, as the mattress is slightly thinner. In the low status is the travel cot a bit longer, so the NUNKI cot sheet fits better.

Deryan travel cot

The Deryan travel cot has an inflatable mattress. If you remove this mattress, a NUNKI co-sleeper sheet fits perfectly around it. A cot sheet also works fine here, but you'll need to secure it a bit tighter than usual.

Nuna Sena™ Travel Cot

The Nuna Sena™ travel cot is a playpen and cot in one. It fits the NUNKI cot sheet.

BabyBjörn lightweight travel cot

The BabyBjörn light is a fairly spacious travel cot. The NUNKI cot sheet fits best in this.

Joie Kubbie Sleep Travel Cot

The Joie Kubbie Sleep travel cot is quite similar to a co-sleeper. The NUNKI sheet that best fits this travel cot is therefore the co-sleeper version!

Try it out at home
