Research: babies' sleep under a NUNKI sheet in nurseries

A four-week investigation.

Babies' sleep under a NUNKI sheet in nursery. A four-week
rigorous research. Wageningen University is set to commence research into the effect of the NUNKI sheet on the sleep of babies in childcare. This four-week study will compare the sleep of babies sleeping under a NUNKI sheet with babies receiving standard care.

Healthy babies between 2 and 6 months old who attend daycare can participate in the research taking place at various daycare centres. Participating babies will be involved in the research for four weeks.

Previous research has shown that swaddling can have a positive effect on the sleep behaviour of restless babies with sleep problems.* With this new research, the scientists hope to gain a better understanding of how the NUNKI swaddle contributes to babies' sleep quality. The research results are expected to be published in a year's time.
